  1. Place a septum on the package and, if the package has a degassing valve, seal the valve with tape.
  2. Insert the test head through the septum and start the test. The instrument conducts headspace analysis, followed by a leak test.
  3. (Optional) Cut the degassing valve out of the package and insert it into the valve testing unit (VTU). Close the VTU and start the valve test.
  4. The test results are automatically stored in the unit and can be exported to a USB flash drive or real time data transfer.
